Trade representative of Russia in Belarus Yuri Zolotarev visited Omsk Carbon Mogilev
The Omsk Carbon Mogilev plant was visited by the trade representative of Russia in the Republic of Belarus Yuri Zolotarev. Such visits to the enterprise are regular, because the implementation of this investment project of international importance is given serious attention by the state authorities of both countries. Today Omsk Carbon Mogilev is a good example of integration of two economies – Russian and Belarusian.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of Omsktekhuglerod Valery Kaplunat and General Director of Omsk Carbon Mogilev Marat Igizbayev acquainted Yuri Zolotarev with the progress of commissioning, told about the readiness of the enterprise to fulfill its obligations for production and toured the production site. A lot of work has been done during the year. By the time the first stream is launched, the main equipment has been installed and put into operation. Modern treatment systems have been installed, with the use of which Omsk Carbon Mogilev will stand on a par with the most advanced plants in the world, including in terms of ecology, because the environmental aspect directly affects the economic success of the project. With the start of the first stream the automated pollutant emission control system will start working. It should be mentioned that during the year construction of the second technological stream was carried out. Now its construction readiness is 85%.
As planned, by the time of launch Omsk Carbon Mogilev received the necessary package of permits, which was thoroughly inspected by the regulatory authorities. Production process within commissioning has begun. Yuri Zolotarev highly appreciated the work done and expressed confidence in the success of the project.
It should be noted that production of carbon black in Mogilev is aimed at global consumers of the European Union and Belarus. In the domestic market, with full capacity, the enterprise will 100% cover the need of Belarus for the main types of carbon black, including such a giant as Belshina. The total investment in the project will be more than 100 million euros.
