About us

"Mogilev" Free Economic Zone is a part of the territory of the Republic of Belarus with definite borders. Its resident companies conduct business and investment activity under a special legal regime. The Zone has its defined geographic boundaries. Residents of "Mogilev" FEZ operate within a specially tailored legal environment. 

"Mogilev" Free Economic Zone was created by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No 66 of January 31, 2002. 

The mission of "Mogilev" Free Economic Zone is to attract foreign and local investments into establishing and development of export-oriented and import substituting businesses, creating favourable conditions for restructuring of the local economy, efficient use of the production premises and providing employment.  

"Mogilev" Free Economic Zone consists of 18 sites with the total area of 3,339.4 hectares. The area of land lots available for implementation of green-field projects is over 420 ha. "Mogilev" Free Economic Zone has about 120 thousand sq.m. of idle production premises well suited for manufacturing needs. All "Mogilev" FEZ sites are characterized by highly developed engineering and transport infrastructure. 

Implementation of the investment projects is supported by a number of tax, customs and other preferences provided by “Mogilev” FEZ. Coordinated work of “Mogilev” FEZ Administration is aimed at comprehensive support for such projects.

The advantages of implementation of investment projects in “Mogilev” FEZ have been duly appreciated by our residents including such world famous companies as the German company Jockey, the Austrian Concern Kronospan and the Russian Industrial Group Omsk Carbon Group.

The territory of “Mogilev” FEZ was expanded to 655.21 ha by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No 262 of June 9, 2005

The territory of “Mogilev” FEZ was expanded to 1,318.34  ha by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No 573 of November 15, 2007
2009
The territory of “Mogilev” FEZ was expanded to 2,108.0 ha by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No 161 of April 31, 2009
2010
The Customs Union of the Eurasian Economic Union was created
2011
1. The territory of “Mogilev” FEZ was expanded to 2,200.1412 ha by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No 597 of December 26, 2011
2. Capsule was laid at the opening ceremony of a new resident company - VMG Industry
2012
1. The territory of “Mogilev” FEZ was expanded to 2,840.6912 ha by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No 481 of October 22, 2012
2. The Prime-Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich took part in the Grand opening ceremony of a national producer of diapers for children
